I’m voting for JF, but I don’t think he can win….IMO

For those interested in the District Judge runoff for the 19th Judicial District Court on April 29th (early voting started Saturday), there are some things you should be aware of if you think these are 2 conservative candidates that would be similar judges.
Louise Hines Myers is in no way a conservative or even until last year (when preparing for this race) a Republican. There is a reason the EBR Republican Party refused to endorse Hines Myers despite her well funded campaign: She’s Pro Abortion. She’s anti death penalty. She’s soft on crime (despite her dishonest ad campaign, she’s been a weak prosecutor). She’s weak on the 2nd amendment.

Well thank you very much for this information, Jordan Faircloth.

I thought it was nifty how all faircloths signs have dry erase so he can change the district on the sign to whatever judge race he’s running for that week

There is a lot of bad information on this board.
Who do you think is more qualified? The woman who has been prosecuting violent crimes for over a decade or the baseball player?
Idiotic post. As has been noted, criminal law is simple. Civil law is not. Myers has zero experience with civil law, and based on her multiple failures of the bar, may have a lot of trouble.
Anyone that thinks leftist Myers will be tougher on criminals than Faircloth doesn't know Jordan.

We already know how tough he is on big truck wrecks

And unfortunately I sense that many on this board will just vote for him because he played ball at LSU.
People are going to vote for him because of this:

Wow. He won’t even say trumps name. Sad!

She looks like a young Dale Brown in drag.

Fair point. I happen to think she has more relevant experience. And unfortunately I sense that many on this board will just vote for him because he played ball at LSU.
Another fricking idiot - I wouldn't vote for Skip Bertman. He's a leftist. This is the same reason I don't trust Myers. I have a feeling she is a RINO based upon her own campaign, not heresay on this board. So frickoff with the popular vote. I know a Bammer who voted for Tubbs. Let that sink in.

I'm voting for Faircloth in part because everyone who has spoken for Myers is remarkably unlikable (like yourself).
I'm pretty certain that Myers doesn't represent what we need.

Anyone know where to get a map of the district who can vote for this seat?
I’ve already voted so I know I can, just can’t seem to find a map of the constituency online.

Why?
I just spent about 20-30 minutes refining a simple opposition for a civil matter that's 100x more complex than any legal argument I've made in a criminal matter in probably 5 years.
Criminal law and procedure is easy. Very fact-based and light on legal analysis. If you can be successful at a big firm like S/B, you can learn criminal law in a month better than most on the bench.

You billed 1.2 tho, right?

Don't bother, you won't get a thoughtful response. The Myers campaign is running a scam and it's well funded.

Funny you say this in a long and detailed thread discussing the relevant qualifications. Sounds like you’re the narrow-minded one.

He's only ran for the same judge race twice. Might I mention only lost by 2 votes last time. Get a freaking clue.
