My grandfather killed any and every animal you wanted in work clothes. He kept food on table. Now you need $30,000 worth of shite to hunt. $15,000 Side by side, $5,000 in hunting clothes, $5,000 in guns, etc. it’s one big game/show now. We are idiots.

Blind link and thinking $125 for a decent hunting shirt is excessive makes one suspect you, like China, are asshoe.

Was this so hard, asshoe?

Your grandpa killed deer, period. Regular deer, not necessarily mature bucks. And he likely had a 5 :1 ratio of days that the wind just happened to be right that day as opposed to those days he got winded.

That's not a "have too much money" situation. I have several winter type clothes that were pricy (nothing over $150) that I have had for years. I have a few LL bean shirts that are maybe 8-10 years old that are comfortable as shite and looks pretty much like it dud when I bought it.

I own a few shirts from Filson. A pair of jeans too. It's expensive but sort of like Orvis. I don't mind paying a little more for some things that are well made. Not always the case just because it's semi expensive obviously

Bet he was real comfortable doing it too , no one said you needed a $125 to go hunting, you want to do it old school and tough it , go ahead, but I bet your pee paw also did not live in as nice a house as you do now and would laugh at your truck, but that don’t stop you does it?

I'll never concern myself with being rich. I concern myself with having my bills paid and children provided for.

I live modestly - not like an OT baller like you all. All your hunting bullshite is an extension of you dicke. Macho bullshite.

I inherited like 8-9. They are all incredible. Quality you just can’t find anymore.

However these are all older purchases from a relative when they still made things in the USA.

I get well-made, but I'm not handing down my clothes. Whatever I've got left will be burned with me on the pyre.

My FIL died about 6 months ago. He and I were pretty similar in size. He didn't have any sons and my MIL gave me all of his clothes. I didn't think it was odd.
