Perhaps some people just like nice hunting gear? They have the means and they buy it. What’s wrong with that? If you can’t afford it or choose to spend your money in a different manner, that’s fine. But why dismiss another person’s investment because you disagree with it? Especially when it has no effect on you?

Who tf needs a hunting shirt for $125?

Most of the deer I’ve ever killed I was wearing a denim wrangler Pearl snap shirt.

I'm the type that would rather have 2 or 3 nice shirts than 8 shitty ones.

I have a jacket/pants combo. Expensive, yes. Don't have it for looks or any kind of cool factor, I just don't wanna look/feel like the Michelin man in order to be warm. It does that perfectly.

Hasn’t been mentioned yet, but you also don’t have to wear an orange vest if you buy that shirt so you can knock off $15 there.

When you are carrying one of these it makes the Filson shirt seem ridiculously cheap, probably something your ammo porter's assistant would wear.

Have a couple Filson duffles that have been passed down and they are legit. I don’t think I’d pay that much for them, but I’m glad I have them.

Filson has been infiltrated by the hipster elite much like Carhartt

Unlike Carhartt they haven’t compromised much on quality

My grandfather killed any and every animal you wanted in work clothes. He kept food on table. Now you need $30,000 worth of shite to hunt. $15,000 Side by side, $5,000 in hunting clothes, $5,000 in guns, etc. it’s one big game/show now. We are idiots.

There are needs and wants. Most of that stuff is wants. A high school friends family owned farm land. We would hunt rabbits with just a Ruger 22 rifle and a box of long rifle ammo. It was cheap and fun.

Yep, can you imagine getting out in the woods and be afraid of tearing up a shirt or getting dirty? Screw that.
