Cool infographic ranking seasons of popular comedy shows I saw on reddit. If you're wondering if you should stick with a show or bail this should give you a good indication.

Modern Family went downhill after the kids got older. Especially Manny and Lily. Those two were almost impossible to watch. And don't get me started on Cam's sister, Pam.

Young Sheldon started out strong but as he's gotten older, the actor is getting annoying. Thankfully most of the episodes now are moving away from him.

I’m impressed at how generally accurate these are and I how personally feel about those I’ve watched.

The only ones I probably would personally have higher rankings on is Futurama and King of the Hill.

Man how accurate is Scrubs there

Also, theres no way King of the Hill ranks that low with audiences.

Nice to see Vinny and the boys from Entourage getting some love

Also surprised Frazier wasn’t top tier

Crazy how The Simpsons has stayed afloat despite its best years being 20 years ago.

Scrubs was a classic example of being back 1 season too many. Same with That 70's Show.

Funny thing is, Parks and Rec and Seinfeld might be cancelled after the first season today, they weren't very good. Both turned into some of the best comedy on regular tv ever.

My take on it:
Animated shows can last a lot longer (no aging actors, just voice actors who can usually keep those voices much longer) but will eventually wear out their welcome.

Several shows either went on for one season too many (Scrubs, That 70s Show), tanked after the main star left (Two and a Half Men), or kind of petered out (HIMYM, Will & Grace, The Office).

A few were good or great every season (Bojack, Rick and Morty, Psych, Veep, etc.)

I never saw Entourage... but I thought it wasn't a comedy? Guess I was mistaken.

Sunny is totally accurate. It's amazing how reliably funny it is after this long
