Probably not many bullpen's left in foul territory but do they typically try to get out the way on a foul ball or the opposing team stays puts like they do on a foul ball hit to the dugouts?

I don’t have issue with what they did. They froze like statues. If they all try to get out of the way the. Someone could accidentally run into our guy or possibly distract him.

No same reason you don't see players move when an infielder comes over to try and catch a foul ball by the dugout.

Gamesmanship.

I seriously doubt anyone would move in that situation regardless of the uniform they’re wearing, unless they’re a pussy like the people bitching about our student section.

Made the catch and rubbed his junk all over him while doing it. Loved it.

I bet if Chad Jones was still playing baseball and came at the bull pen those dudes would be vacating the shite out of the area.

If I’m flying over to catch a could ball and they don’t move I’m plowing into them like a wedge buster.

LSU bullpen scatters during games when foul ball ends up in RF territory
They need to get the bullpens off the field and hopefully it will happen

Because that is what you are told to do. Moving, even if you are trying to get out of the way, could put you in the way and could cause interference.

If they moved the bull pens off the field this would not be a problem.

Guys do the same thing near the dugout. They won’t move but will stop a guy from falling over usually. I would expect the LSU bullpen catcher to do the same. Now pitchers should get out the way immediately.

LSU has the advantage of practicing with the bullpens and being able to navigate that area. Many of the other teams do not.

Plus, the visitors bullpen is right in front of the fans and they have to hear the cat calls instead of warning up comfortably behind a wall.

Actually a boss move by the catcher who was basically helping his team. Hope our guys do the same.
