Mine almost doubled in JP. Shopped and got a little cheaper with Allied, but it still blows. Never had a claim.

No reason not to shop it.

But everyone is going up.

There are no magic bullets.
If you ever need to use the insurance, you may want to keep an eye on customer reviews.

It is easy to hand money over to an insurance company.
Is it easy for all insurance companies to hand it back when presented with bills and invoices?

Well sounds like I'm the norm, so not too bad considering i guess. I'll shop some next year probably, but obviously be picky about it.

Thanks for the replies.

Ours went up...Shopped around and realized better value for our dollar. We bundle Auto which inched up but not enough to offset the lower Home premium...same coverage

Mine went up 50%. I'd take your 30% all day if offered.

I got the yearly looks like we going to need money for your escrow account. Figure its the yearly bend over time for the increase in property taxes and homeowners insurance.

Depends on where you live?
South of I-10 or coastal, that’s the norm.

Should we include insurance in core inflation calculations? Probably so.

If I pay the house off can I drop insurance on it? I know they’re not gonna give any money if something happens
