Every publication I have looked at predicts a Hokie win.

I watched a little of that game against OSU.
They are a better team than we are.

No they are not. They may win but we are about even. They are better offensively but good defense beats good offense. We have to limit Amoore and the all Acc big inside and we win.

They had shooters too...one girl could bomb. I wasn't that impressed with their big girl. Other than that they were better, IMO.

Not better team but right now they have a better perimeter shooting team so Lady Tigers gonna have to play excellent perimeter defense and hit some perimeter shots

Even if both teams are everything equal, the media will pick against Mulkey. They don’t want her to succeed.

You're basing that off of the assumption that OSU is better than we are this year because they beat us in the tournament last year. Without taking that into account, there's really no way to tell which team is better between VT and LSU.

Can this narrative please fricken stop!
I mean seriously...this is so silly. Who in the media is rooting against this squad? Point to just one. Hell, not even the former coach who does the Final Four broadcast for ESPN has said a bad word about Mulkey or this squad.

Currently, Vegas has LSU as a 2 point favorite. Not sure which publications you're reading, but typically those are just opinions from people that don't really know shite and they are looking for clicks. Vegas is about making money, that's it. I have more faith in the Vegas odds makers than some hack analyst.

Agreed. Most national media that cover the game on a regular basis have nothing but respect for her.

In basketball, more than any sport probably, people only look at offense. The reality is defense wins in March. On the men's side there hasn't been a champion in the last 20 years that wasn't in the top 25 in the nation in defensive efficiency.
Best I can tell, LSU is No.2 nationally in defensive efficiency. Virginia Tech is No.30.
