I was in junior high and all the cool kids were huge wrestling guys. We had a massive royal rumble party when stone cold won.

So much could’ve been done with that situation and WWE dropped the ball on it. I think AEW has done a better job with buying ROH for the most part they’re keeping the two companies separate.

WCW was the shite and both Baton Rouge and New Orleans were a stronghold for WCW..

they legitimately sold out the SuperDome on a couple of occasions for Monday Nitro alone.

La Parka had more charisma than 90% of the current wrestlers today.

El Dandy was a jam up guy.

Even the jobber tag teams like High Voltage looked like wrestlers, unlike today.

Is there still an NWO-owned Shoney’s somewhere out there.

My buddy used to be Kevin Nash’s agent. I assumed he was awesome, but apparently I was very wrong. Never meet your idols.

WCW had Bret Hart and messed that up

Making all of the roster literally NWO messed that up

I was in PCB for spring break staying right on the strip in one of those old shite holes. (Majestic or surf high) Standing on the strip drinking and then slowly creeping down the road comes a convertible Sebring and two long hair dudes with Hawaiian shirts on. It was Nash and Hall. I don’t know why they were riding around in a Sebring? They were wearing those same outfits on nitro that night. Lol

I miss WCW too.

But at least AEW has managed to fill that old WCW (and ECW) shaped hole in my heart that WWE & TNA just never quite could.
