So much could’ve been done with that situation and WWE dropped the ball on it. I think AEW has done a better job with buying ROH for the most part they’re keeping the two companies separate.
Bro have you been watching ROH on Honor Club lately? It's so damn good. I'm genuinely looking forward to Supercard of Honor more than Wrestlemania tbh.

I remember in 9th grade some people talking about wrasslin and I was like oh y'all are dorks. They said watch Goldberg. First one I saw was La Parka...From then on I had Nitro live and Raw "taped". I miss those days

Wrestling was so big in the late 90’s, that there was a section in the Reveille covering all the stories for the week. Loved reading that before class.

Because of this thread, I spent about 2 hours watching old videos. Assholes. Ended with the Dudley Boys at Heatwave incident. Always a good watch

Greatest night in wrestling history
That would be just a few days later for Wrestlemania 17, the best of them all.

Watching Monday Nitro circa 1998 in the dorms drinking beer at LSU with friends was amazing.
Did y'all ever have a Nitro party and send the tape in?

WCW was the shite and both Baton Rouge and New Orleans were a stronghold for WCW..
The Cajun Dome in Laffy too.
That was always a great area for rasslin in the Mid South days until the oil bust in 86/87. Even the WWF couldn't draw well there until the Monday Night War.

Wrestling Bios YouTube
Turns out on the night Goldberg won the championship, his win counter was accurate.

Steiner took the original Big Gold belt home in late WCW (they were using cast copies on TV by then) and recently sold it for $60k in cash.

Man, I remember as a 13-14 year old in 1998-99 using my money to buy some of the PPV's. I remember going to school on some Monday mornings having to ask some of my friends what happened on some of the ones that I didn't watch. I couldn't exactly look up results on the Internet at the time.

TIL that Dr Harvey Schiller was SEC commissioner before Roy Kramer.
