Because they have lost 2000 tanks and need any mobile firepower they can get their hands on, and the super old tanks don't require precision bearings and foreign restricted electronics to get operational.

Would be smart to rig them with remotes just to suck up American supplies missiles and stuff. Plus, would expose firing position.

Who here is a historian of Ukrainian history and ethnic groups? The history of the Crimean peninsula alone is enough to make me back off from claiming to know much about what the people of Ukraine and its various regions want, other than to not be pawns in the power struggles of the elite.

Lets see roll out rust buckets and make Ukraine aka USA waste a few million dollar missiles to destroy T-55s. Kinda think might be smart move.
