Not to mention there is currently one federal seat occupied by a democrat.
Yeh, you see, that isn’t true though on the senate side. And the one seat is the 2nd district for the house….

JBE isn’t winning. A federal seat running under a D. His aspirations are to open up a private practice of sorts after his governorship is complete

Then how did he win a state seat with the exact same voters?

The 2nd time around, it was black voters that became difference makers. He lost white voters in this instance.

Because he had a block of voters that don’t care to vote and never will care to vote for a senate seat. It’s a completely different election than that of governor

The Republican nominee is getting 58% of the votes the last three presidential elections in LA. Would be extremely rare for a senate seat to go to a Dem under those numbers. Almost unprecedented

Heaven forbid, but if Biden wins a second term I could see both JBE and LaToya eventually moving up to DC to work in his administration, especially LaToya given her gender and race.

I don't doubt that JBE wants one of the LA senate seats, and if he gets into a race where the LA GOP runs another Elmer Fudd type against him, beware. Smack, smack on Capitol Hill.

I don’t even understand how democrats can support her. She is incompetent and corrupt. Surely there are better democrat options
