Cartoons died the day someone decided Wile E Coyote and The Roadrunner was too violent for children to watch.

My great grandmother (believe she was in her mid 80s around this time) made biscuits on Saturday morning, and my cousin and I would go over and eat them while watching cartoons. Then of course we played outside all damn day. Man, those were simpler times….early 80s.

ME TV shows them 6 days a week Monday-Saturday. I have antenna tv but think it's also on Cox and others.

On Saturdays it's a 3 hour block- Popeye, Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry, Looney Toons, and some others they add in. Watch them about every weekend.

Think about how awful Saturday morning cartoons would be today if still a thing. Be thankful, it would ruin good memories.

God this entire board is so soft and so geriatric

MeTV (everyone should have this channel) has a Bugs Bunny & Friends hour saturdays at 8 am. It’s the good cartoons, not the later versions. Not politically correct all the time.

It's a damn good thing too, because kids shouldn't be subjected to shows like "Dukes of Hazzard".
