I loved this episode.

Akoufu is hilarious and Jamie continues to be fantastic. Kinda lame how easily Roy and Keely got back together and I really hope they aren't trying to humanize Rupert with so little episodes remaining.

The dude has not shown a single shred of humanity until this episode, it would be proper bullshite if they use the very end of this season to redeem him. That's some Disney Channel TV movie nonsense.

Glad Nate got out from under Rupert, but I legitimately thought I had accidentally fast forwarded or something because it was so abrupt.

Mrs. Vox said the same thing. I thought for sure the paps were going to take the pics of Jade heading to Poland to be with her family and spin it as she left him because of the Weather Ham "scandal" that led to his departure. I have a little more respect for him since he voluntarily parted with Rupert, but won't fully reaccept him into the fold until he reconciles with Ted.

Speaking of which, where the frick was the title character all episode?

Roy's nice is so adorable, whenever she's on screen I want to die from the cuteness.

Jamie's gifting Roy his old World Cup jersey was really sweet, but I laughed harder than I probably should have at the alteration.

Little Phoebe is gonna be rich by the time she gets to University if Roy and Jamie stay tight.

Thanks to those who tipped me off about early release of the episodes. I checked at 8pm and there wasn't anything there. It wasn't until we were getting ready for bed that I realized a bunch of LA people were the tipsters, and that meant 9pm EDT, so I was able to get the episode in anyway.

I figured Barbara would come back to work for Keeley. The actress wouldn't leave Ghosts for a brief arc/ glorified cameo.

Once Dani Rojas said “we are now enemies and soon you will be my bitch” I was so locked into the episode.

Some of the other lines were incredible like Higgins talking about all the kids from Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory being dead now - and Bumbercatch responding to the “you’re Swiss?” line with “yeah, look at me!”.

Good shite.

Nate's lightbulb joke to Jade was crazy under the radar, too.

Axe throwing with Beard and Jane sounds intense.

I think that was him just trying to get something out of Rebecca and it ultimately helped her finally move on from her disappointment of how he used her as he does everyone in his life. Now, she isn’t obsessed with only beating Rupert and West Ham. She wants to win because she loves Richmond and the culture Ted has created.

I was getting genuinely upset when Roy threw the shirt on the ground and left it. Great fakeout

Especially because we got about an episode and a half of true evil Nate. Which is fine but somebody has to be the villain. West Ham vs. Richmond on the final game of the season for the Premier League title needs to have some venom to it

Lol the ER doctor that treated Dr. Sharon after her bicycle wreck is Phoebe's mom.

Edit: And Higgins killed it this episode. "I hate to break it to you but those kids are dead!"

The Peaky Blinders music as Roy walks in with the tie-dye shirt was peak lol, so perfectly done

Some of these tertiary storylines are getting so cartoonish. Danny turning into some ruthless robot as soon as the international play starts, GTFO. And they’re making this Nigerian dude such an obnoxious clown it’s become beyond silly

It’s weird they have Roy walk in while Keely is telling Rebecca how stupid it would be to go back to Rubert. Are we supposed to think they’re comparing the two?

Roy was never the POS Rupert was. Also, why have they decided to make the entire breakup Roy’s fault? Keely asked to go on break.

It reminded me of the Wire.

it was Roy's fault. He didn't want a long distance relationship while Keeley built her brand and Keeley did want one.

Also Roys sister was the ER DR who tended to Dr Shannon after her accident.

They both live in London. He was going on a holiday. Keely asked for a break.

You're right. She didn't want to vacation to start the brand and told him to go anyway.

Was it even going to be a distance thing? I think it was just Roy was having issues coming to grips that he actually cared about her, and Keeley starting her business was the excuse he needed to give himself.

Roy was going on Holiday and wanted Keely to come and she said she couldn’t then asked to go on a break.

Then episode 1 they were telling the neice and Keely says “we’re on a break” Roy says “we broke up” (not exact words)

So yes Roy ended it but no one actually just goes on a break.

That's right. I'd totally forgotten about Roy wanting to take Keeley to Tahiti or wherever it was. It was right as she was starting her business.

My brother-in-law was over yesterday and started watching from S1. It was interesting to see the initial cast and where they were before the massive character development.

A) I think that was playing into the el tri stereotype. The mexican national team are a bunch of assholes.

B) this was akufo's second episode. what the frick does it matter? is he anymore "cartoonish" than beard?
