Really loved this episode. So many good things happening with several characters, but I think this one belonged to Rebecca.
The return of her "power move". Though she realizes she doesn't need it anymore because all she's doing is dealing with a bunch of little boys in the end.
Her seeing through Rupert's new homely assistant as another manipulation move.
Her boss-bitch rejection of Rupert with nothing but a head shake.
Her growth into a true team owner rather than someone who owns a team.
Hannah has been an absolute beast through the entire series.

I didn’t really understand what Nate did in the locker room. Can somebody explain that to me?

He did the kit man’s job (Will)
He was such a dick to him he went in and humbled himself, set out towels, jerseys, etc fir Will and apologized.

I do wish we would’ve gotten a bit more of evil Nate but I’m happy with how his character evolved this episode. It was so good.

I know the show has become a bit of a cheese fest but I do love it. It gets all in my feels.

So wait did I miss when they fired Nate?

I wish they would have showed it.
Hope he proposes to that girl
And the teacher who was hitting on Roy was wife material. He needs to go back to her.

I think we will get more info on that. They dropped so many hints about what went down, it isn’t likely the show won’t circle back to it.

Agreed. I think we get a flashback to Nate dropping the news on Rupert.

I would guess we get Nate going back to Richmond/Ted in some type of way, and that's when we see the flashback to why he left.

One thing I noticed that may be part of the reason the season has dragged is the episodes are over an hour. They use to be 30-35 minutes
This is the type of show that needs to be 30-40 minutes

I don’t know if this has been discussed but each season opens with a closeup to a main characters face and ends with a similar shot but their character making a turn. Season one is Rebecca and it is her in the office with a negative attitude and planning on ruining the team and closes with her and Ted in the same office planning to “win the whole fricking thing”. Season 2 is Nate beginning with him being all in and coaching from the sidelines and of course closes with him being a bitch. Then we have season 3 opening with Teds face looking sad and then saying goodbye to his son, I can only think it ends with a similar shot but him being happy and saying hello for good

Some of the other lines were incredible like Higgins talking about all the kids from Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory being dead now
I was dying laughing at this whole scene. Higgins' delivery was fantastic

I really hope they aren't trying to humanize Rupert with so little episodes remaining.
The dude has not shown a single shred of humanity until this episode, it would be proper bullshite if they use the very end of this season to redeem him
I didn't see it as redemption at all. Instead, it was Rupert keeping all his old ways. He was acting all nice to Rebecca in hopes that she'd fall back into his arms for the afternoon. He's used to getting his way with women and expected it to be the same with her. No awareness of the reaction an attempt to kiss her would get. What this showed was Rebecca's growth. She told him no and got away quickly!
I loved this episode, especially the Nate guitar scene and his dad. Yes, it happened quickly, but the show has a way of not showing stuff actually happening and instead showing the fallout. I didn't want a super villain Nate. It was much better showing how he was never happy and it wasn't his true self.
My favorite episode was the Amsterdam one (just so funny) and this one is 2nd best of the season for me.

Yeah what Rupert did was his old ways. It's how he charmed Rebecca to begin with and how he charms every woman.
