I got a few ghost stories. It doesn't matter if they were ghosts or some other crap, but I saw what I saw and experienced what I experienced.

Weird shite. Happened a few times and never again.

After we bought our house the day we moved in somebody or something scratched "help me" into our bedroom wall. We have a long hall and occasionally we will see something go from one room into our bedroom. My wife tells the kids it's our guardian angel. Dogs react as well

This reminded me of one of the other strange things that happened in this house. For a while we had a corner hallway that was fricky. It was like someone was there. The fricking cats would look at it, the kids were scared of it. For no reason. Nothing was there. The cats part is what was strange and perplexing to me. For like 2 months they’d be looking over there or sitting around there just looking. Wife had her spiritual people do their thing and it seemed to go away.

I don’t believe in ghosts. But I do believe that women talking away from others and women leaving in the middle of the night may make you have your belongings reduced by half

Lol I was just lurking/scrolling for the 1st time in a while.

And OP, this sounds just like that “people living in your walls” shite I just read about a while back. Sounds more like a physical being, or potentially an animal(like a raccoon or something)…. They’re very smart and resourceful creatures, and good at using their hands. I saw a big fricker try to open our glass front door about 20 years ago (on Vernon Lake) just outside of Leesville. If I’d been inside when it happened, I would’ve sworn it was a human trying to get in, with all the aggressive racket it was making.

I like you am open minded to the idea. Not necessarily a believer but have had, seen, or heard just enough in my lifetime to not at least give it a reasonable doubt.

My wife grew up in Scott and a lot of her people are from Crowley and Mamou. Some of the old folks in her family are all into believing Voodoo and Gris Gris and shite like that is real. I grew up in Shreveport and didn’t believe any of that stuff but have seen some stuff that make me wonder some times.

Please post any updates if anything else happens. I do find stuff like this to be mildly interesting.

What were you nervous about in your own home? You seem the type that is ripe for misreading or imagining shite.

Man, I still kind of get goose bumps when I see the still photos. The video itself was just too dark and grainy, so it’s way easier to chalk it up to an optical illusion or weird shadow/lighting etc. But every time (going back 16 years or whatever it was), I get this same uneasiness in my gut, because I know there’s an explanation or a reason other than “ghosts” but I don’t know what it would be. And I’ve since talked to one of the others from the video, and it just made me double down on the fact that nobody was there that day other than us, and the guy in the pic also swears he could see well enough in the darkness, especially walking towards the light, and 100% certain there were no people. And there were certainly no babies/children or whatever the smaller objects are that look like children would’ve been within at least a few mile radius of the parade stadium at that time.

ETA: PLUS not even to mention the interpreter walked right through all of them in that image without flinching.

ETA 2: and those stairs lead up to a huge hole in the wall. It’s like you would walk up those stairs, then you’d be looking down 20-30 feet, just like it’s off a cliff. That part also always weirds me out.

I wonder if your home is on former Native American land. The only haunting stories that I know are 100% true happened on NA land.

One of my brothers, a major atheist skeptic, has seen absolutely unexplainable shite happen when he lived next to an NA burial ground and later camping alone at sites that he hadn’t realized were near NA sacred lands. He has no reason to lie about this given his world view, and shits on everything supernatural not related to his personal experiences.

My husband and I lived in western WA in what were once tribal (I think Puyallup) lands. The shite we saw and experienced in our house (for example, stuff legit sliding across a table like in the movie “Poltergeist”) is so unbelievable I’m not going to describe it all. We were both 100% sober as my husband was undergoing chemo at the time and I was not drinking without him.

I’ve never seen anything like it before or since, so I’m just wondering if there’s an NA link to verified incidents.

Ghosts don’t usually wait 6 years to become active. Something either disturbed them or you/someone else allowed a spirit to attach to them and brought them into the home.

Did you recently have new guests over or buy any used or antique furniture
