Favorite Restaurants Between Clearview and Carrolton

Have a Friday evening match at Jefferson Playground the end of this month and am looking for an early dinner option in Jefferson/Uptown area (but not too far past Carrolton). What are your favorites? I've done Jacques-Imo's in the past but that's about it and that area.
