looking at it wrong.

Montgomery will fit perfect with what the Lions are building. As a Bears fan, it sucks to see him go but I understand why they decided to go a different direction.

Gonna play DB (at a decent level) till hes 40

Yep.

And the thing is, the Steelers secondary was already pretty good. So he doesn't need to be great, just pretty good.

The #Panthers are expected to sign former #Bengals TE and first-round pick Hayden Hurst, source said. Another weapon for their new QB (whoever that is).

per Clarence Hill:
quote:

The Ezekiel Elliott era appears to be over in Dallas.

Per a source close to the situation, the Cowboys are set to part ways with the two-time NFL rushing champ and the running back is preparing to start fresh with a new team.

The move could come as soon as Wednesday afternoon when the league’s 2023 calendar officially begins at 3 p.m. and teams are required to be under the salary cap.

Andy Dalton and Hayden Hurst to the Panthers

Dalton will be a solid #2 behind the rookie QB.

Eagles have lost their entire defense and both coordinators. Can we expect them to be contenders in 2023?

Their losses + the regression to the norm for that sort of offense is going to hurt.

They do have a top-10 pic courtesy of Nola, which helps.

Jordan Davis developing should offset some of the DI losses

They'll be fine. They resigned Bradberry and Kelce. They have lost nothing from their offensive line. They were eight deep on their D-line last year so losing a couple of pieces isn't going to have a big effect there. They are replacing Sanders with Penny and still have Gainswell and Scott. Their biggest worry might be all the coaching changes on their staff.

I also think the Bengals are getting off kind of lucky. They have lost a ton but no one else in their division has made any kind of significant move. Patrick Peterson isn't turning the Steelers into Super Bowl contenders by himself and the Browns and Ravens have done nothing (including signing Lamar Jackson). Also the Bills and the Chiefs have pretty much treaded water so far so they aren't losing that much ground to the two other AFC powerhouses. They would be in a lot worse shape if the Dolphins and Jets were in their division.

Wow, S Jordan Poyer is returning to the Buffalo Bills. That one surprised me. I guess they don’t want to lose any more leadership on their defense

#Bills safety Jordan Poyer is expected to sign… back in Buffalo, sources say. He checked out the market, but returned to the #BillsMafia.

Pats are trying to sign JuJu

quote:

Sources: The Patriots have called about DeAndre Hopkins and Jerry Jeudy. They also attended Odell Beckham Jr.'s workout last week in Arizona. They're in the WR market, but the price point remains a key component. @TheAthletic

Might be making a move at the position some way either way
