May as well as shut him down. We aren't making the playoffs with the way they've been playing recently.

Need major changes in the off season.

I just hope Zion when ready isn't 20 pound out of playing shape.

Pels office wants to sell those increased season tickets, they aren't going to be totally transparent with Zions injury. If they came out two weeks ago and said Zion was done i'm sure it would have an impact on ticket renewals.

Everything about this is just exposing our organization is. I think there’s no doubt that they know how bad the injury is but they’re not saying anything on purpose to sell tickets and avoid any backlash.

Also Griff sucks for not having enough depth. Why do we have 4 centers, 1 power forward that we know can’t stay healthy, 0 legit starting caliber point guards and Garrett Temple? It’s year 4 and we still don’t have a roster with decent depth and balance.

End of Gayle Benson's time here?? LMAO....is Gayle gonna fire Gayle? lol. Is the owner of the Saints gonna fire the owner of the Pelicans? Lol

I get it, we all hate it...I hate it.

But it's a lot more normal than we think. Just off the top of my head, Kyle Lowry comes to mind. Hasn't played in over a month, and there have been no reports on a timeline or how he's progressing.

Nobody’s buying tickets if Kyle Lowry is playing or not. Not the same with Zion and the pels. Management knows that season tickets and individual tickets will drop if they announce that Zion is done for the year. Remember, Gayle Bensons main reason for owning the Pelicans is to make money above all else.

Remember that ‘point em out’ interview video where it’s BI, CJ, and Zion? Z/BI were clowning CJ for all of his old man hamstring stretching every day and like a week later Zion goes down. Pisses me off every time I think about it. Maybe he’ll take his body/preparation seriously at some point

Show me an example in the NBA where an owner is forced to sell because of poor performance.

Wondering what you mean by forcing her hand exactly?

Plenty of organizations suck, suck way worse than we do.

Sure, it is a business at the end of the day, but lets not act like a 76 year old with no children who plans on giving away all of her wealth to charity upon her death is scheming to keep injuries secret for the sake of money earned by ticket sales.

It may not be her idea, but I think it’s pretty obvious that’s what we’re doing.

Pels are 2.5 games out of 6th in the West.

They're also 2.5 games out of having the 6th worst record in the league.

If Zion isn't coming back just shut everyone down. Get Dyson a ton of minutes. Kira a ton. Trey, etc etc.

This would be a great reason to string fans along for the last few weeks. Fans are still going to games if there’s hope. As soon as Zion is officially announced as being out for the year, fans will stop going to games, regardless of where we are in the standings. They want a few more weeks of decent crowds before making the official announcement that he’s out for the year.

I lowkey think one of the reasons for this collapse has been whatiknowsofar's growing self-importance since being named a mod.
