So on the way to work today I had a revelation

It's not so much that I realized they lie. I've just never realized that they like to claim how popular their policies/positions are, yet they go out of their way to hide what those policies/positions are.

it has been the most obvious trait of left wing politics for well dove half a century.

Democrats never ever will define exactly what they mean about anything. They are not even very clear on what they are against = other than to say 'what that guy is doing is BAAAAADDD!'

Their only description is always = 'what he did' = that will be bad, regardless of whether or not yesterday they did the exact same thing.

This is why the language itself is their worst nightmare = which is why they have been trying to destroy it ever since the first inkling of "political correctness' raised its ugly head half a century ago.

Just look at the words you are no longer allowed to say - even pronouns themselves begin to be fighting words.. Words have meaning depending on who says them. You are not allowed to express approval for any concept until it has been cleared by the "Democrat Board of Correctness" which is never seen to be in session, but issues abrupt and final rulings on a moments notice, with no sense of continuity with past dictums.

The language itself is being destroyed = we are becoming warm blooded robots with only controls for nodding in agreement - or armed for violent protest, on instantaneous command from the DBoC.

Often, they do know they are lying, but they can't tell the truth because it is not palatable to most people. Most liberals won't say, "I'm a communist" or "I'm for open borders", or "I want to give all black people $500k". So they support the policies that lead in that direction.

Case in point: today, you have no problems finding liberals who will say that a person can be a man or a woman based on preference. Ten years ago, you would ha e been called a conspiracy theorist if you said that was going to be a litmus test for liberals...

The jury is still out on that one. There is a jillion times more evidence that the 'birth certificate' was a fake than that there ever was that Trump colluded with Russia - or any of the other bullshite your colleagues have been ventilating over for the past 7 years.

What does your 'liberal circle' say about any of their past delusions??

u no - things that really matter - like 'insurrections' - 'treason' - etc. Are they coming around to the truth on anything that matters???

They do this in practice, but it's a choice. They don't have to start on the defensive.

Yesterday when McCarthy was answering questions and was asked about the Tucker Carlson tapes, the first reporter asking something about TC lying about officer Sicknick. McCarthy didn't respond to that, but he could have - he could have asked the reporter what about the video TC showed was untrue? Fact is Sicknick wasn't killed by being beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher as YOU GUYS reported. Officer Sicknick died as the result of a stroke that the medical examiner did not tie to anything that happened on J6, and in fact died of natural causes. So it's not lying by TC that we need to be concerned about. When are you going to inform your viewers how Sicknick actually died?"

Republicans and the Right broadly are too intimidated by the media, and make a big mistake thinking playing nice will get them more favorable coverage. I hope that's a lesson Trump learned if he's our man in '24 - all his capitulation to the Left got him no favors in the press.
