I also think Maggiano's Little Italy has half decent food for a chain.

For a chain, Maggiano’s has surprisingly very good food. You can get the Marcos meal for $50 to include two salads, two pasta entrees (upgrade to a specialty item for $5 more) and a desert to share. Definitely, more than enough food. You can take two pasta entrees home for $5 a piece.

Sadly, the only one near me outside of Seattle is closing permanently.

Salt Lick has 4 locations. Does that count as a chain? If so I want that. Baton Rouge has nothing for bbq.

None. Would rather eat local in any city.

I honestly rarely go to torchys to get "full". I go for a beer or a cheap weekend bloody mary and have a breakfast taco. Leave with a sub $10 bill.

They had something like this in the LSU student union in the early 2000s. Loved that place.

Nah, I travel the country and eat local everywhere I go. I am quite happy in all my finds. There is not a chain that makes me say damn, I wish I had one near me to the ones I have have been to.

I traveled for work for years to small towns, big cities etc. Sometimes a chain is the best food in town or the only thing open past 6pm.

3 great ones in the original post. Houston’s is dynamite, Pappasitos is so much better than Superior it’s not even fair. Lupe Tortilla only if there’s not a Pappasitos around but still better than any Mexican in Louisiana.
