I have not been to a ton of those but I have been to roughly 1/3.
I would choose Athens as the best I’ve been to. Auburn would be second.
Hard for me to rank Baton Rouge having grown up and went to college there. Some of the best times of my life but when you spend so much time in one place it’s hard to properly rank it

Baton Rouge probably shouldn't get out of the first round vs Greenville but if they do they will lose to who ever wins the 1v16 matchup between Raleigh and Athens

Tempe as a #1 seed is legit. Mill Ave got kind of overran by homeless people a few years ago, but when I was there last year, they seemed to have cleaned it up. They have a ton of bars in a small area that is close to campus and overrunning with hot coeds.

A. There are more bar areas in BR other than Tigerland
B. Baton Rouge/Louisiana people love to bash Baton Rouge for some reason, almost any person I have talked to that has been there as an away fan said they had an absolutely great time and ranks it among the top trips they’ve made as a fan.

As one of those away fans the tailgating in BR is great, the bar scene is garbage. If this were a tailgating scene bracket LSU/BR is an easy 1 seed and championship contender

I’ve only been to State College briefly but it does not belong as a one seed. Even isolating Austin for just the college type bars (difficult to do) it’s much stronger than a place like State College
