We are living in the Quaternary Period. The Quaternary is an ice age comprised of >20 110K-yr stadial-interstadial cycles. The max-min climatic temperatures are fairly regular as is each cycle length. Ice core data shows CO2 and climate temp tracking closely. Higher temps are associated with higher atmospheric CO2 levels.
"Scientists" therefore claim interstadial warming is d/t CO2 forcing, and results from atmospheric loading secondary to volcanic eruptions.
Meanwhile, Henry's Law (a scientific law actually is settled science, btw) holds that partial pressure of gas contained in liquid increases (solubility decreases) as the temperature of the liquid increases. If open to the atmosphere, as temp rises, the gas will leave solution and enter the atmosphere. 93% of terrestrial CO2 is contained in our oceans ... i.e., a gas contained in a liquid.
So the volcano eruption CO2 climate-driving hypothesis is problematic for two reasons:
(1) Volcanic eruptions are random. Our quaternary climate cycles are not.
(2) If CO2 was the climate driver as claimed, volcanic CO2 emissions would warm the earth, oceans included. As the oceans warmed, they would release more CO2 which would cause more warming, which would release further oceanic CO2, which would cause more warming, etc. If CO2 was the climatic driver as claimed, once warming commenced, there would be no off-switch.
---
The sun is not an absolute constant.
110K-yr cycles would explain exactly the correlation of CO2 and temperature variance observed in ice cores. As the sun warms oceans, more CO2 enters the atmosphere. As it cools, CO2 reenters the oceans, leaving the atmosphere.

Tarzana says global warming affects different areas at different times. So kinda not so global but still very dangerous and we need more taxes to fix
He also says that a spy balloon cannot lift a 1.4 megaton nuclear device because that’s just too heavy.

Increased CO2 is greening the deserts
The complete opposite is occurring. Semi-arid areas of our planet, with limited crop production, are desertifying, in the Southwest US, the African Sahel, and Australia. Mass migrations happening from the Sahel are rampant due to starvation.

I don't think CO2 is driving global temperatures in any way
Because your religion is the faith of climate denial. Go ahead, light candles at the shrine of Britain's Lord Monckton.

Right on time.
Warm air leads to evaporation, which leads to water saturated atmosphere, which leads to more precipitation, which leads to increased rainfall, which causes massive floo .. ooops ... uh .... massive drought and "desertification," because ... science.

dude, do you want tarzana to have a stroke here? he is a huge climate nazi! check his post history

there he is! climate sheep.
hotter during erik the red in greenland.
antartica core samples showed hotter 55k years ago.

Wait, I thought the world ended around 2013 and all this was just a simulation?…
Posted on 2/5/23 at 1:46 pm to tarzana
You take the computer sims. I'll take real science and history.

That's a hugely deceptive temp v CO2 graph. It doesn't include the last 70 years of human history--current atmospheric CO2 levels are off the chart, at over 400 ppm. In 1950 it was ~250 ppm, still within an expected normal range. Since then, humankind, particularly in developed countries, have gone on an emissions jag like there's no tomorrow. As a result, the climate cross the globe is FUBAR.

The audacity that mankind thinks he is more powerful than mother nature is funny.
Your post was a good one, with which I largely agree. I wish you would lose this last sentence, which is ludicrously incorrect. Mankind can easily overwhelm nature. If all nations decided to simultaneously blow up their entire nuclear arsenals the climate on earth would be changed far more than the amount you ridicule the warmys for projecting.
They have beclowned themselves, but not because they think man can overwhelm nature - we can.

The most baffling thing to me, is how mad they get at the possibility that there could be evidence to show this stuff is not as bad as they are fearing.
Stuff like the OP is NEVER looked at as ‘hey, this could be good news.’

tarzana and his commie dem ilk always proves us right as they have zero self awareness....by that i mean they continually prove they have zero objectivity, perspective, rationality or critical thinking skills.
Did GOD make this guy this damn stupid or did he choose to be stupid and ignorant? i will go with chooses to be stupid for 200 alex.

Not a single CO2-driver predictive climate model has held up precisely because your premise is false.
Yes, CO2 is up 130ppm over natural levels. Yes, climate models predicted at 420ppm we'd be in crisis mode. Yet, CO2 forcing models haven't smelled accuracy. Not one.
CO2 climate driver models predicted the Arctic would be ice free a decade ago, for goodness sakes.
Trying to duplicate Douglas Mawson's 1911 to 1913 voyage to Antarctica 100yrs later, in a horrible warmist embarrassment, the 2014 expedition ship got trapped in ice a couple of hundred miles shy of Mawson's landing point.
We have 250 yrs of consistent glacial retraction in Alaska evidenced in the historical record. No rate change. No variation. Yet every mm of current ice withdrawal in Glacier Bay is assigned w/o evidence to anthropogenic CO2.
None of it plays out

They created a endless cycle. Set a timeline for crisis. WHEN it doesnt happen, say it is because of the climate control efforts that was put in place. Rinse and repeat and the impressionable (youth) and dumb will eat it up over and over...fricking Brilliant really
