So we will probably go on the greatest bull run in our history

I think I was too heavy in individual stocks

I have a little identity crisis I don't know what I want my portfolio to look like

SPY is hitting "over bought" territory today. Probably not a bad idea.

About 75% of my positions in my options account are currently short positions. FYI.

Congrats What usually happens you end buying those same positions back at a higher price.

I would make a financial plan with specific financial objectives. Compartmentalize your portfolio to each objective (where risk, return and timeline need to match up to the desired outcome). Let that be your North Star. Portfolio follows plan. Floating in the wind can be expensive.

I’m not sure if you’re trading or doing that in an investment account. But if you’re (shorter term) trading and are just taking profits now, I can’t say that I blame you. You haven’t really made (or lost) money until you ring the register.

I trimmed late last week. Trying not to think about it.

When are Boeing and the MJ ETF coming back from 2017 numbers?

Yesterday was the first time in about a year I did a small amount of rebalancing. Didn't take any cash out of the market, however.

Good call, wouldn't be surprised if today is Black Friday with that ugly jobs print we just got.

Uncle Warren and Berkshire have a floor underneath OXY at 60. Anytime oxy gets near 60, buy it

I bought a ton of March SQQQ calls that are already up 30%. Will hold for 4-500% before I sell.

Warren and Berkshire have been horrible with OXY. Owned 18% of the company in 2020 and sold all of it.

Warren has been adding. Where did you see that he sold?

OXY has been my most profitable stock the past 3 yrs.

I read it in almost every financial news organization in the world in August 2020. He sold at the worst possible time only to buy back in and cost his fund about $2 billion at one of the worst possible times. If you are following Oxy because of Warren you are misguided. Yes, it has been profitable lately, but Warren has missed on this trade twice, so just because he is adding more is most definitely not automatically a good sign.
