It was fine, i wasnt apart of the EV side, just IT. and IT is pretty much the same at every company

Tesla just drastically lowered their prices and still expect a 20% profit on every car sold. They already have like 70% of the US market and looks like now they are going squeeze other manufacturers into lowering cost and have to sell at a loss. SE/Programmer under an IT umbrella? Or IT that does some coding?
If you've got solid SE/programming experience on your resume from an EV company you should be ok(IT as well for that matter, companies arent going to stop using tech).
Hell sounds like your boss might have been shite anyways.
