Because there weren't already enough burger restaurants in south Louisiana?
Curbside, Burgersmith...that's really all we need. The others are just extra.

Is Baton Rouge's burger market ready for another contender?
Aside from standard fast food locations, there are plenty of specialty burger joints. Shake Shack opened in November — and there are two Mooyahs, Curbside, four area locations of Burgersmith, two Smalls Sliders, BurgerIM, Smashburger, Atomic Burger, Five Guys and more.

Even so, Michael McGill, president of Bobby's Burgers — the hamburger joint backed by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, says the franchise has its eyes on Baton Rouge.
From the franchise headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, McGill said the company is "very serious" about the Baton Rouge market and is hoping to find the right fit to make it happen at their Feb. 9 Discovery Day in New Orleans.
Bobby's Burgers will be opening its sixth franchise Feb. 10 in Harrah's Casino in New Orleans. The seventh Bobby's Burgers is scheduled to open in Phoenix in March.

Baton Rouge's burger game is really strong. We don't need another burger joint.
We need better Pizza restaurants.

Bobby Flay's burger place in ATL has some amazing milkshakes and burgers
Would put overpriced Shake Shack to shame

I thought this place closed months ago. Legit the worst burger I ever ate. It was so bad I had to eat there again to confirm that it was as bad as I thought. It was.

Give me a Chicken Guy (Guy Fieri's chicken place) over a Bobby Flay burger.

I imagine with the amount of food we like to eat in South Louisiana, any serious restaurant owner should probably look in that market.
