If he’s got bonus clauses in his contract based on that award, this would be a huge deal

examples in the reddit thread, he was credited with a block for this

Gee no shite, role players play better at home than on the road

The Hornets did this all the time for Chris Paul and assists

Chicago Bears padded Brian Urlacher's tackles all the time. It was talked about on sport shows but nothing was ever done.
Steroids in baseball was another scandal that everyone knew about but nobody did anything about it until it could not be ignored.

You'd think he'd be all over it since padding Jackson's block stats will push Mitchell Robinson further down the league leaderboard.

1. Thread: THE JJJ FILES I just watched all of JJJ’s 66 blocks in Memphis this year. Here are my findings 1. JJJ might be the top rim protector on earth. 2. Of the 66 blocks, at least 60 are clearly blocked by JJJ 3. 3 to 5 are questionable 4. 2 are kinda sus (here they are)
Nothing to see here.
There is always some degree of home cooking with score keeping.

I think it’s more likely that home defensive stats increase b/c refs are less likely to call fouls on the home team b/c they get caught up w/the crowd reactions.

Yeah disparity in stats isn't proof of anything. The tape is all that matters

the most destructive Reddit post in NBA history.
This is what it’s really about. Has nothing to do with “morals” or “playing the game the correct way.”

That is correct. Same thing goes for free throw discrepancies that people complain about. You gotta show the bad calls on tape the discrepancy in itself doesn’t mean anything.

Wasn't this already known with assists home/road and league low key addressed it?
Posted on 1/28/23 at 2:50 pm to LSUStaple
I wouldn't call that a Huge Scandal.
