My office, along with several other offices/companies, got a mass email from a big customer on a protocol change, probably hundreds of people on the email. Of course, some people replied all to confirm.

Well, some world class idiot replied all with this:

Can't make this shite up.

My company did a big anti phishing campaign. After the first email, they sent everyone an email saying it was an anti-phishing attack and XX% failed.

Some dumbass replied all “I flagged it and deleted it.” That led to about 30 “me too” reply all emails.

I called it the “me too” movement

How do you not double and triple-check before sending an email like that.

I had a boss who worked at another area who came over to our area. Everyone feared him at first (turned out to be a great boss). First day he sends out an email saying how he expects efficiency, work smarter not harder, and how he loathes people who reply all automatically. Went on to say it should be used judiciously, etc. You guessed it several people replied all with duly noted, understood, agree, etc

One of the smaller manufacturing buildings I used to work at had one of the workers Bob page Jack on the intercom system to call him.
He tried paging him several times but Jack was off work that day.

One of the office ladies in the office knew Jack wasn't in so she paged him back over the intercom and said "Bob Jacks off, Bob Jacks OFF "
Bob yelled no I don't and the whole building broke down in laughing.

True Story.

That’s pretty good.

I had an employee put a guys name in the CC line to figure out how to spell his name so he could talk shite about him, then forgot to delete it and sent.

People ask me why I don’t reply all. Even when it’s something not with work. I just don’t do it so I never do it.

Plus most of the time I’m answering a specific question for one person.

I used to work for a very large company that used Skype messaging. There were several thousand people in offices across the world on it. One day some poor bastard accidentally blasts a group message out to everyone in the company. That set off the moron chain reaction of people sending "what is this?", "Why am I getting this?", "I don't think this is for me", etc. That was followed by dozens of well meaning dumbasses telling everyone to stop replying to it. The whole thing went on for a few hours pinging everyone's computer.

I've seen one of these play out before and it was hilarious. Ended with 2 guys getting a 2 day vacation without pay.
