Fixing their roster would do a lot more good than fixing their uniforms.

And fixing their front office would help fix their roster.

Have no idea why the league can’t force the Titans to give up or license the Warren Moon era Houston Oiler logo rights to the Texans.

Makes as much sense as the Utah Jazz.

FWIW I believe the Titans still own everything related to the Oilers including trademarks, records, team colors, etc.

The Texans could try to change colors to that light blue and I'm pretty sure the Titans could shut them down if they wanna get petty.

Not that that was ever the case:

ok

read the title the quotes

No the TEXANS ARE NOT BECOMING THE OILERS
they cant, the Adams family owns the rights to the name, logo .team history

but they don't own a color

cal mcnair is a booger eating moron, the mcnairs hate the fact that the fans still luv the Oilers more

but they are changing uniforms in an obvious attempt to boost fan interest

this is a leak

Where is that pic from?

The placement of the Texans logo alone makes it looks like an unlicensed hat that you'd find at a gas station.

They'd be better off bringing back a Warren Moon, an Elvin Bethea, a Curley Culp, a Robert Brazile, an Ernest Givens, a Drew Hill, a Bruce Matthews, and an Earl Campbell.

So if the Saints wanted to change their colors to black and silver, you mean to tell me the Raiders have no recourse?

I'm pretty sure the Titans could poopoo the whole thing if they wanna.

I agree but it appears to be legit, this is a link from an Austin news station mentioning a possible uniform change and there are some shirts with that same H

The Jazz at least kept the name and continue to use it. The fact that Adams changed the franchise name to the Titans after two years in Tennessee makes it way more obnoxious that they continue to refuse to give up the rights to the Oilers name.

They should just rip off LA Tech's uniforms, except use the powder blue instead of royal blue.

If Tech can get way with looking almost like the Oilers, so should the Texans.

There's a reason the Titans wore the Oiler throwbacks several seasons ago during the AFL 50th anniversary celebration instead of Houston... the Titans hold onto that lineage & history

If the Saints wanted to go to silver for whatever reason... there's plenty of way to do it without infringing on Raider trademarks... Raiders may complain but the Saints would be able to do it

Even the Pels allowed the Bobcats to become the Hornets again. Adams is petty as hell.

But with the new helmet rules in the NFL the Titans can at least wear the Oilers throwbacks again like they used to.

Raiders original colors were black and gold

Al Davis was colorblind and made the change
