According to his Instagram story, he is in Toronto. Interesting considering there is a home game tonight.

Squadron play there tomorrow. Must have been sent to G League.

Nevermind--Looks like he went back to the G League and they play tomorrow.

Having to play in the G-League while we have 3 guys out and Garrett Temple is not a good look for Kira.

Willie isn't shutting down Devonte until he's traded.

I'm not reaching at anything.
BI is a guard, Naji is a guard, Temple is a guard.
When you have 4 guys that aren't playing, it really doesn't matter what position you play, it's all hands on deck.

And you know what? McCollum is a guard, Daniels is a guard, Jose is a guard, Herb is a guard.

Then you have Graham who they are committing to. You can be mad at Graham and his minuted but you gonna seriously sit there and say it's not a good look?

That doesn't even account for BI/Naji being close or ready to return.

Looks to be the case, but strategy hasn't really worked. Likely still have to come off assets to move him. Kira really needed those minutes to see what the Pels have in him.

Playing devils advocate, we have a trade lined up that will be executed Thursday, and they’re going to let Kira get some minute’s in the G-League to ensure he's ready to go and get minutes after the trade is completed.

Devils advocate to the devils advocate, if we have a trade lined up, the guys going out likely don't play until the trade is done, and we'd need Kira on the Pels roster with more missing guys.

Or it could just be that Kira Lewis isn't the answer. Frankly, other than straight-line speed, he hasn't shown much to make me think he is a rotation piece in the NBA. I hope he proves me wrong at some point.

It's 2022 bud, not 1978. We have a 6'8" "PG" and a 6'6" "PF".

I guess Trey Murphy has been logging 48 mpg while BI, Naji and Herb have been out since he's the only healthy SF on the roster. ANd it's crazy how CJ plays 48mpg since he's the only SG on the team other than Temple.

If you guys want to knight for Kira, then go for it. I wish the dude the best. I'm not hoping for him to not succeed, but if you think it's ok that he's playing G-League games in his 3rd year while we are only dressing out 12 guys, and one of those guys doesn't even play, then i don't know what to tell you.

My devils advocate has been thwarted.

To be fair, the kid is 21 and coming off a serious injury, but has still shot 50/40/100 at a 21/5/2 per 36 pace in the tiny number of minutes he has played. I’m not sure what else he can show Willy to get more run if that doesn’t get him at least a little bit of DG’s time while DG is regularly bricking up the joint.
