But you’re passing judgement on someone and saying “what they should have done” while not knowing their BAC or their level of impairment.

How about the AFFIDAVIT which you still have not read with interviews with the culprits incriminating themselves about how they knew how drunk she was...and the fact that none of them offered a defense of them being drunk as well. They were coherent.
There have been some assholes in this thread. You are trying to top them all.

Their lawyer already said publicly that they had sex and it was consensual. No mention that they were incapacitated.
He admitted she was drunk, never said they were.
Why are you being more of an advocate for them than their attorney?

I think it’s terrible what happened. I’m as sad about it as any of you.
I have cousin and nephew at lsu right now and we talked Via text today about it.
I just think there’s lots blame to go around.

Impairment is not an excuse to commit a crime. Her BAC was .319.
The video shows them leaving the bar at 1:49 am. She was hit by a car at 2:50 am. She was taken to the hospital where BAC was taken at some point there. So at least over an hour passed before her BAC was taken. So at the time she left the bar and supposedly consented her BAC was even higher. At least about .324 (as the body metabolizes about .015 per hour).
This girl was likely barely conscious and probably coming in and out of consciousness. This isn’t a case of her being tipsy, and playing some “card” because she regrets sex. She was having a medical emergency and instead of helping her they raped her and left her for dead on the side of the road.

I said this earlier but yes. Even his own buddy Carver’s statement contradicts his rendition of what happened
