Playing the dumbass is his shtick. You can't be that funny and quick-witted and be a dullard. Look up his bit about the Tinder date with no legs.

Theo seems like a good dude. Wouldn't mind having a beer and bullshitting with him

Knew him at lsu. Different but good dude.
One podcast he said his celebrity has allowed him to frick a lot of hot chicks. But he has also fricked a bunch who look like they belong under an overpass.

He was on a flight I was from from LAX to IAH last fall. He was super engaging and nice to all of the people that approached him. I was a little surprised at how cool he was, mainly because you expect celebrities, or quasi-celebrities in this case, to be a little jerkish. It was a pleasant surprise.

He is funny, but he can’t be that dumb in real life.

Him and Bobby Lee together is comedy gold

Louis CK discovering he was funny almost in real time was a charming listen.

You aren’t very good at funny.

Yeah, alot of Theo's act is an act but he's getting paid to make people laugh not tell his autobiography in total truth. Funny guy and always been nice and just an everyday dude when I have been around him
'Couple good shooters

Theo is an example of the overall issue I have with standup comedians who got into podcasting. Like many of those people who started podcasts and had them be successful, Theo isn't a great standup comedian. He/they wouldn't be booked as headliners of the rooms nationally on their own standup comedic chops without their podcast fanbase.
I've seen several successful podcast hosts do sets live, outside of their podcast, and good ones are hard to come by. Part of that is that they either weren't that great and/or weren't very seasoned prior to gaining big followings, or the fact that their podcasts take up a whole lot of time and they just don't get to put in the stage time needed to create/perfect a really good hour. So, when you see them, especially if you're primarily a fan of their podcasts (which probably accounts for 85% of casual comedy fans at a show), you're left disappointed. At the end of the day, without that podcast most of those people wouldn't be shelling out $40+ and buying a minimum of two items to see their show.

I always thought he was funny and him being from Covington is interesting.

His comedy isn't for everyone. I've watched him for years and love his comedy.I do understand people can take his humor as sophomoric and juvenile.

I don't know, but I hung out with him a few times in Tiger plaza 2000/2001. One time he had a party at his apartment and I remember people being dicks to him and some girls stealing a bunch of his shite. Like dumb shite too, like taking his soap to say they had the road rules dudes soap.

Only started seeing this dude and see he’s from Louisiana. Dudes a weirdo and not very funny.
His first Netflix special was good, his second one wasn't as good, but he isn't someone that everyone will think is funny, but I think he is funny.. and relatable. I just like to listen to all of his stupid stories..
Like the last time he was on Rogan he said he fasted for 4 days, then went into a best buy and saw a small Vietnamese man and that he was so hungry he could have eat the man. Its dumb funny just because of how he tells it.

He was pretty likable on some of the early MTV road rules in the late 90s. Those were his pre-drug days

I think he is funny as hell great story teller

I remember Theo from LSU circa 2000-2001. I think he had just come back from filming Road Rules? He actually wrote a column in The Reveille back then. I remember LMAO at one he wrote about how much eye contact to give for passing other students on walkways and the quad. It was outside the box funny even then.
