Baldwin charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter

The film’s first assistant director, David Halls, has agreed to plead guilty to the charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon, according to the person.
Santa Fe-area District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies plans to announce the charges Thursday morning, the person said, and the charges are expected to be filed by the end of the month.

Im torn on this one. Baldwin is undoubtedly a POS. However, he does have some plausible denyability in this particular case.
My question has always been, why were their live rounds on this set?

All true.
That being said, maybe I’d have more sympathy if they backed off all their smugness and hypocrisy while they are surrounded by armed guards and spout off ignorant crap about guns.

Well, that’s another breach of protocol. Nobody but the weapons master or the actor should ever be touching a gun on a set.

"Armorer" should be in quotes, as her only qualification appears to be that Daddy performed that function for the film industry. Whoever hired her and everybody on that set who knew their were live rounds and a functioning "prop" gun are morally responsible for this. Hopefully some of them are held legally responsible as well.

My guess is he'll be confined to house arrest, thousands of hours of community service and probation.
