We can disagree on just and unjust and firing or sticking with the general. What isn’t debatable is woody botched the firing by doing it via text, the team finding out via Twitter. It’s already a hard situation to deal with and Woody botched it from an optics point of view that you have to question if he is better than alleva.
To follow that up Woody went cheap and we get a dead program without even needing sanctions.
Wade fricked up getting caught, woody botched his release and it caused MM worse issues.

Women’s basketball is packing the pmac. Your statement doesn’t hold water. The product on the court for men’s basketball is pathetic. LSU didn’t stand up for the man that they should have and we are reaping the benefits.

A more recent nc than anything LSU has and in 2 years wade will be clanging his cowbell as he drums MM on the court. While MM is in year 3 struggling to match the win total wade put up in his sec title season.

Woody is at fault for the roster having 0 players on it. If he had handled the wade firing better we might have had more players.
Plenty of good coaches would have come to LSU. Sanctions or not, you pay enough and LSU has shown it can win.
I hate bitch arse Nate oats but he was a much better hire by thr bama AD. When you are a bad program you need a coach that brings it with energy, can recruit and has a signature style. Oats has a very clear style of exciting basketball and it was clear what he would do. MM is boring as frick as no distinct style nothing to him.

I agree with most of what you said. The only thing I would add is that KJ Williams is the bright spot for this team on offense. Say what you want about the ball movement and lack of ability to consistently hit a three but KJ has been the 1 offensive bright spot for this team.

This is pretty bullshite. It’s open season for transfers no kids were going to stay around LSU if the only reason they came here got fired especially with the majority of the kids not growing up in the area. Doesn’t matter how Wade was fired most of his kids were likely to leave

Name a couple of names then. What more established coaches with a background of winning would you have liked to see interviewed? LSU isn’t a destination job they aren’t going to pull established P5 coaches because we don’t have the fan support or facilities for someone to jump. Our only options were pulling a non P5 or grabbing an unproven assistant from somewhere.

There were zero scholarship players committed to the program when Wade left. McMahon had a very short time to turn it around. We have no depth and no star players.
If we close out the easier part of the season against the easier part of our schedule, then we can throw stones.
