The jab is not protecting you!

But it’s still bizarre that everyone who thought they were doing the right thing by getting vaccinated may be more susceptible to the latest variant. Heck, it was Joe Biden who once said, “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.”
Remember that? Classic.

“XBB.1.5 is the most transmissible form of COVID-19 that we know of to date and may be more likely to infect people who have been vaccinated or already had COVID-19.”
I know the article is interpreting this similarly to you. But I don’t believe they are saying that the vaccine puts you at risk. I think they are saying this variant puts the vaccinated at higher risk than other strains did.
Essentially I think they are just bending over backwards to not directly say that the vaccine doesn’t do much for this variant.

100% effective, does that mean it has, at minimum, a measurable effect on death and hospitalization in 100% of people who receive it? Weird phrasing, he didn’t say “you will not die or be hospitalized for Covid if you take this shot.” Glad I didn’t take it.

Which tracks with other highly mutative upper respiratory viruses like influenza.
Your interpretation seems right, though, I suspect the actual message here is "vaccines now do nearly nothing" which will be followed by new boosters that people are increasingly not bothering with.
They might as well just move on at this point.

The phrasing is even weirder if that quote is accurate because he's basically saying the covid vaccine will protect you from death or hospitalization.
In which case, time to start skydiving without a parachute.

Agreed. I’m vaccinated and no longer getting boosters

Which makes it NOT A VACCINE, but rather an injectable gene therapy which teaches your body to manufacture the spike protein.

They can't. They changed the way voting, travel, business will be done forever. It is their, pardon the pun, "Trump" card.
They're not letting it go.

Re: "XBB.1.5 is the most transmissible form of COVID-19 that we know of to date"... until the next variant ... which will continue the pattern.

Because CV19, prior to variants, was both more virulent and more heavily impacted by the vax. The vax was the singular way to move us away from fear porn and economic shutdowns. It was a totally different situation.
Natural selection in a novel viral course invariably leads to variants with lower virulence, greater contagiousness/transmissibility, and lowered vax efficacy. That is exactly what we've seen with SARS-CoV-2. BA.4 and BA.5 are easier to catch, less serious when contracted, and not affected much by the current vax.

So it’s super transmissible. It seems they forget to tell you what are the adverse effects? If it’s super transmissible but just causes minor symptoms then who gives a shite.

Surprising how many people don't even realise that the original first two vaccine doses were for protection from a virus that is 100% completely extinct.

The purpose of XBB.1.5 is to provide justification to extend Executive Branch COVID-19 Emergency Declaration powers and all the downstream benefits that come with those powers.

I had the same thought you did. "Depends on what the definition of "effective" is"
I heard an interview with a guy who said Fauci is really good at phrasing just right for him to wiggle out of any kind of prosecution, so don't expect much from congressional hearings.
