No, but you have to move on. I still think if my ex from 20 years ago. It is what it is. She set the bar wayyyy to high for others to fill her shoes abba I haven’t found one yet but I have one in the hopper currently.

I met a guy on a red eye, he spotted my guitar and said “what do you do?” I sing for a living, country music mixed with a little rock and a little blues.

I know I have to move on, just very hard to accept. I think this is going to be something that’ll really help me in life, turn things around, and to better myself, but there’s just an empty hole right now. Hard for me to not ponder on so many things that I should have done differently.

Chin up. You’ll get past this. Enjoy your alone time.
I know and it’s really made me think. Lots of self evaluation lately.

We all go through it at one point. Time heals all wounds, sounds corny but it’s true. You’ll wake up one day and realize you’re over it.

Some do. I don't, I still have positive feelings. Its someone you cared deeply about at time, that just don't go away for me. I keep things amiable.

Been 3 months lol. And I know my breakup is not near as painful and depressing as a divorce is. This is just the first time I still am not over a girl after three months. This one just seemed different and I started to think things about my future that I never had before.

Hard time? Sure. Ever get over? Yes generally. Depends on the circumstances obviously.

I had that feeling with a girl I was with shortly after college. It was a toxic relationship and I fell hard for her. But after a couple months I woke up one day and was over it. Met my wife shortly after that and I couldn’t be happier. Now I look back on that time and just laugh at it. You’ll be ok. And you’ll find someone else.

This. To get OVER somebody your have to get UNDER somebody else. Speaking from experience

Yeah, the only way I have found to get over someone is to start getting regular sex from someone else. Even that doesn’t always work. The real loves…they stick with you, though. It’s damn near impossible to shake them.

You'll find another man. There are plenty out there

Yeah, for the level of godlessness exemplified by Hunter S. Biden, that motherfricker actually turned words into action. I’m sure he could talk the talk as the old East European truism goes, “like a Ukrainian politician.” But he walked the walk with equal tenacity. Cocaine - check. Hookers - check. Extra cocaine - check check. Extra time two woman hooker teams - check.
