Do you truly ever get over someone?

Anyone here ever had a hard time getting over someone? Drive in life and everything is fine, it’s just the drive to find someone is just not there. Asking for a friend.

It really depends. I don't think anyone ever forgets their first. If you've lived with someone for decades, even had children with them, it probably doesn't just leave you overnight. Time smooths it all out in the end.

How long we talking?
Deevorce took me about 15 months. Then just like that, shite got all sunny in my head and I was optimistic again. Took a few days to even realize it because I was so use to the drudgery and depression.
