I didn’t have high expectations for this team, but I did think we’d get more out of Miller. He looks really bad on both ends.

Not a great shooter, and very lazy on D as well. We could live with the lazy D if he put up 20+ per game.

He is absolutely awful. Thinks he can shoot 3s, and can't! Does not play a lick of defense.

He just needs to develop some consistency, he shot it well at UK and Tamu.
Maybe it's the lights in the pmac but idk need him to stay at a high level for us to have any chance

The truth is he isn’t actually shooting that much worse than what he did at Illinois. He hasn’t been a great shooter since he’s been in college. It’s very tough to evaluate how someone shoots off the ball in high school vs college. Many shots at the high school level are uncontested. It’s a different game when you move up to the next level. He is a below average 3pt shooter when contested at the college level. He’s now missing wide open shots too though. Something about his shot just doesn’t seem natural. It’s like the lower half of his body isn’t on the same page as his upper body. It’s awkward between how much elevation he’s getting and his release point. It reminds me of playing basketball video games…when do you release the shooting button.
