Saints & Pels on borrowed time in NOLA

The car break-ins and lack of concern from the administration on protecting citizens and their property has received the attention of NFL offices. They are concerned about the ‘25 Super Bowl.
As NOLA will likely continue with Teedy type leaders for the future, the Saints, Pels, and future Super Bowls are in doubt when Gayle is gone.

This won’t get the same reaction here as it did from the OT. People here are in denial. But for the NFL and NBA to say something about it, it’s worse than just bad.

NFL and NBA don't have to worry, big ticket events...they'll call up state trooper + neighboring police to help with security.

Too much STATE taxpayer money for the the multi-billionaire owner to move the teams.

Who is committing these crimes? Maybe the governor can ship them out

I mostly attribute my slow departure away from Saints fanhood to the city itself. Team needs to move. City is fricked and will eventually sink into the marsh within 50 years.

Ah yes because most sports teams are located in the safest of cities
Anyways this idiot is trolling. Check post history. Also, legitimately a weirdo.

Those AED's can help reset people from the shock of returning to their vehicles when they are broken into after the games.

But the statues are gone. This shouldn’t be happening anymore.

There are a lot of people on this site absolutely ate up with the politics.
Although the murder rate is one of the highest in the country. New Orleans doesn't even make the top twenty for violent crimes per capita.

The only people dumb enough to suggest the Pels and Saints should be relocated/sold are just LSU fans who are mad that the city of New Orleans supports those franchises at a better level than BR does LSU. It’s quite sad.

I agree the violent crime is getting out of control, and the residents of Orleans Parish did it to themselves by barely voting and giving Latoya more power. That said I hope the Saints and Pels stay. We have some devoted fanbases represented not just in the city but the Gulf South region. If the Saints moved to Austin or London and the Pels moved to Seattle or Vegas, that would be the death knell to my interest in the leagues and you know both leagues are itching for it to happen when Gayle passes.

Good and I hope it falls to pieces. New Orleans is a shithole and the years of corrupt politicians is finally catching up.

You should see what the sports fans in LA do to cars. I guess Lakers Dodgers and Rams are on borrowed time too.
