This trailer is worse than the first one. Hollywood should stop trying to make interracial romantic comedies.

Has great comedic potential if they don't slam slapstick comedy into it. Situational comedy and unintended funny lines make the best scenes for funny movies IMO.

It looks generic (except for the cast, of course), but good enough I might give it a try.

And think about that boys and girls (and others, I'm not excluding anybody intentionally) of the M/TV board, because I hate everything.

Looks good to me, I'll give it a shot. Also Lauren London gained a lot of weight, but she gets a pass after what happened to Nipsey Hussle

It's not the normal "welcoming black family meeting the racist white family", it's the "attempting-to-be-overly-empathetic white family meeting the resistant black family, with the father being a bigot." It also doubles down on the comedic absurdity by making the white family Jewish and the black family Muslim followers of Louis-lmfao-Farrakhan.

The family dinner comments had me giggling.

I'll give it a shot because it looked like a comedic take from a more honest look.

This is definitely a millennial or older movie. Interracial coupling is really not a big deal for people under 30.

I like the equivalency that trailer draws between “white people being cringy trying to show solidarity with blacks” and “I follow and support a leader who wants to exterminate you like rats, how awkward!”

Trailer was funny. I'll hold out until I can see reviews on it. I'm skeptical that Hollywood can do a movie like this and not inject wokeness into it constantly.

Alright, the wife and I watched this tonight. I take back my criticisms that were based on the trailers. It's actually a pretty funny movie.

Just finished it. I understand that the protagonist has to play the skittish, trying to impress and downplay your flaws submissive aw shucks type of character to the father-in-law in these movies. But that’s not really how it works. Me and Eddie Murphy would’ve been cool if I was in that role, but if not, then that’s a him problem. You either get on board with my shite, or I ain’t gotta see you till the holidays

On the other side of the coin, I think just one quick conversation with the Jewish parents were you say, hey, this pandering and looking down on me bullshite ain’t gonna fly would cut the mustard
