One of the most amazing things is we have 25 page thread for LSU BASKETBALL and Chicken had to start it.

LSU looked better all around the court with exception of rebounding. They seemed to scheme better towards the end to get some rebounds.

Only so much you can do scheme wise to neutralize bigger and more physically talented players but they did their best

That was a great game. We should've put all of our 3 point shooters in the game. KJ (49%), Mwani (40.7%), Miller (30.5%, but he was hot), Cam Hayes (41.2%), and Hannibal (33%). As great as Hannibal had played, he was the worst 3 point shooter on the court, so Kentucky knew they didn't have to guard his 3. At least they would've had to guard the others, and Hannibal still gave us a reasonable chance.

It was the switch from zone back to man defense that they had played in the first half.
CMM knew Oscar and Toppin were bad physical matchups and would likely get us in foul troble (radio broadcast said he told them that before game) so he switched to zone in the middle of the game.
But it is extremely difficult to rebound against longer athletes when you play zone defense. When we were down 10, he had no choice than to go back to man to keep them from easy putbacks.
It (almost) worked.

Did you read the post? It says when to use the TO
With 3 seconds you don’t have that kind of time to dribble it to half court and throwing a half court pass isn’t exactly a high percentage play.

It also doesn't help with 34 (who is a great college player) is allowed to constantly clear space and never gets called for a foul. He did it all night.
And how that "common foul" wasn't at least an F1 is amazing to me. Oh well, just the way it goes with SEC refs.
This team has a lot of limitations, especially with shooters who can create their own shot.
If Hill would just play decent (he's been really bad this year) it would help a ton.
Hopefully as the season progresses, Reed will continue to improve. Right now he's just not physical enough, but you can see he has skills.
This team will go as far as KJ can carry them. One thing that hurt last night was him only having 3 Rebs. This team needs him with double double's against good teams.

You look at the box score and rebounds and points in the paint by Tashebwe stick out like a sore thumb.
This was where LSU was beat. Otherwise it was a well played and clean game.
