It's nice to see fans, players, media, and this nation stand strong for this young man in prayer

It really is. In almost any tragedy, prayers and the request for them are practically immediate.

This world in many ways appears to be cold, cruel, and unfair; but it always makes me happy to know that the human spirit and our ability to form community out of empathy is not so easily eroded.

The kid in the beginning looked like he had never seen a prayer in his life. Sad.

Christian faith is another thing that the powers that be seem happy to see eroded. I truly hate the tendency to make things political, too, but in my lifetime I’ve seen Christians increasingly labeled as simple and unintelligent. Sad that non-believers feel the need to do this.

Wow. That was heavy. Good for this man not ashamed or scared for doing this. God answers all prayers........BUT...... He says "no" a lot.

Dan Orlovsky just prayed out loud on NFL live because he felt it was the right thing to do, and I agree. Much respect.

Bart Scott went on ESPN and blamed Tee Higgins, even said Higgins lowered his helmet into Hamlin (which never happened)

It absolutely isn’t Higgins fault. That’s a joke to say that.

The more I watch the hit though, the contact to the chest was a lot harder than it appeared and first, and Hamlins chest pretty much absorbed all of it

He said he didn’t do it on purpose though. Why omit that part?

Good. Now the leftists on this board and the media can mock everyone with the classic "thoughts and prayers" gotcha.

Football fans are the salt of this country, I’m not surprised.
