I cannot recall this happening

I think the Arizona Cardinals did in 98 when they clinched a playoff spot. But technically they stormed Sun Devil Stadium, a college field

Some Patriots fans were electrocuted after tearing the goal posts down in 1985. They paraded them down the street and touched the powerlines.
They survived.

Seemed like it happened more often during the pre and early Super Bowl era.
Colts fans tore down the goalposts at Yankee Stadium after beating the Giants in the 1958 NFL Championship.

In 2011 they lowered field goals in Buffalo because there was supposedly going to be storming but it didn’t happen. I don’t think it happens in the NFL because the security is way more strict and this might be a hot take for some but less passionate fans

Probably not since storming the field is for college kids who go to college games.

Gee no shite. They pay more for tickets, you think they want some stupid college kid climbing past them to get on the field? You think the players want that?
Here’s a heads up. It’s about to be a thing of the past in college too.

Tampa Bay Bucs fans in last week of 1977 season after their first ever home win.
Just two weeks earlier these creamsicle-clad warriors enjoyed the first win in franchise history in the Louisiana Superdome.

Bills fans did it in 1990

The Bucs’ wins in 1977 were in back-to-back weeks, the last two weeks of the season.
Bills fans did it in 1980 after ending a 20-game losing streak to the Dolphins. Buffalo was 0-20 against Miami in the 1970s. They also did it in 1988 after clinching their first AFC East title and first division title of any kind since the ‘60s.
Steelers fans did it for the Immaculate Reception in 1972 and after the 1975 AFC title game. Raiders fans did it after winning the 1974 Sea of Hands playoff game against Miami.

The most famous is the so-called "greatest game ever played" the 1958 NFL Championship where the fans were already surrounding the endzone and on the field of play for the final TD.

A lot of Saints fans stormed the field in the Superdome in 2005
They literally stormed the field

LSU did that during a game against Tennessee in 2000 (maybe 2001?). The pictures of it are awesome and it’s amazing play went on like that. They’d shut down and clear out the entire stadium today over “safety concerns”
We are such a bunch of soft bitches today.

Come on man. They've been showing one on an endless loop with the 50th anniversay of The Immaculate Reception.
