I just had a craving for a milkshake from Fast Track, and it made me think of how much I enjoyed this place growing up. The fries were the shite, the hamburger wasn't too bad either, but my favorite thing by far was their strawberry milkshake.

Does anyone else miss good ole' Fast Track?

If some BR bigwigs looking to do a burger joint in BR, don't bring in a Five Guys nor Fatburger..

Then someone should approach Doc Hill about buying the rights and recipes to Fast Track, and open a few well-researched locations.

BR's Whattaburger location sucks compared to their Texas locations, Backyard Burger is good but too well done, Cheeburger Cheeburger is good not great and slightly overpriced nor quick, BK died on the vine long ago, McSoyburgers suck, Jackbox Angus mediocre,etc..

I miss Ground Patti and Fast Track in BR.

One of the few fast food places I liked. They still have one open in Sorrento.. its inside a gas station by the Best Western. When I go the back way to New Orleans I always stop and get a bacon cheeseburger and fry!!!

if you make it out to the Sunshine Bridge area the gas station right there still has a Fast Track located inside. While it is just a shell of what it started out to be the nostalgia factor can make the burgers taste as good as they once were. Also, the SEASONED fries are served in a 24oz drink cup instead of regular fry carry things.

The O.G. Fast Track, before they cut corners to keep profits the same when beef went up, is so worth it. I imagine if they didn't overdo the concept and focused on quality they could win back a lot of customers.

I used to stop at the one on Nicholson at least twice a week for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and strawberry milkshake. I left Baton Rouge before they shut down. What happened to them?

Yes but I wasn't a big fan.

There was one in Breaux Bridge and I loved their huge biscuits in the mornings and their triple cheese cheeseburgers.
