Thermostat setting for vacamt house (winter weather related)

Looking for opinions. My parents’ house is now uninhabited. It is an elevated house. What is the lowest setting you would go on the thermostat to protect the house and the contents that are in it? Water is turned off at the main valve.
With the deep freeze potentially coming next week I am going to try and get everything squared away this weekend.

As long as any pipes outside are covered, you can leave the tiniest little drip and it will be ok.
We don’t live in Indiana so the weather has to get cold enough and stay at those temps for a while to actually freeze pipes.
People love to knee jerk weather around Louisiana. Yes it gets cold but not that dang cold

I have rentals that are vacant from time to time.
I have no problem setting the stat at 50.

But check the plumbing.
Are pipes exposed outside, under the house or in the attic? If any of those conditions exist action should be taken.

leave heater set at 60
leave a/c set at 80
this will control humidity just enough to stop mold and prevent any pipes from freezing

Shut off the water at meter. And drain the pressure off the system.

We keep our cabin at 55. Water turned off and pipes drained. We are much colder in winter than around here.

I leave camp at 60 and 80. Never know it will be 90 or 30 in LA. Nest/smart thermostat is great for keeping a range.

Everyone saying check the pipes either didn't read or can't read. The man said the water is shut off at the main valve. If there is no water in the pipes they will not bust.

Even if the water is off, pipes could still freeze. Drain the pipes.

If the water is turned off, you dont have to worry about anything getting damaged. I would crack open a line just to be sure water still in the lines doesn't freeze and bust.
