So antibiotics for a virus?

Brilliant!

Probably doesn’t matter. Treat the symptoms and let it run its course. If you start having breathing problems go to the hospital.

Exactly. People are conditioned now to run out and get "tested". Sure wish I was in the test kit selling business.

When I got sick a while back I just bought one of those inexpensive O2 sensors you put on your fingertip. That seems to be the common denominator in Covid cases that go bad - dangerously low blood oxygen levels. Focus on the most severe problem, not the culprit.

Knowing what you have going on. Of course ignorance is bliss to many, I suppose.

sorry to break the news but both COVID and Flu are both viruses

Why would you take an antibiotic?

Ill reiterate what someone else said, 'how do some of you people live day to day?'

Use one of the free government test kits they sent out via USPS…….
It’ll give you peace of mind knowing you have it or don’t have it. But, I see nothing would change as far as how you feel. Treat symptoms as a flu bug….

Doesn’t really matter either way, nothing to do but ride it out, tamiflu is a gimmick

Same symptoms I have had (plus a headache) and I was neg for COVID on multiple tests. Honestly, it could be either.

He wants to know if he has covid.

You can roll up to any of the damn pharmacy drive throughs to get one or get it delivered to you.

Or you can ask the OT who won’t be able to give you an answer.

I agree. There are rhinoviruses and old coronaviruses aplenty out there. They didn’t go away.

Old wives tale: A cold is three days coming, three days here, and three days going. You’ll feel fine within a week.

FWIW, my COVID about a month ago my sore throat was like a really bad case of strep and a ton of drainage/mucus. Seems like other folks who have had it recently had similar.

If you do decide to wait it out, at least do folks a favor and stay home while you’re really symptomatic. Being sick during the holidays sucks.

Might have been worth a test on the first day or two since TamiFlu could have helped but I think you are out of the time range on that. Not sure what good a test would do now. Just treat your symptoms and drink lots of water.

I had this with just a slight fever, mild aches....felt exactly like the "COVID" is tested positive for in late July. DayQuil and NyQuil for three days and I was fine.

The same way as people who get a test, survive. Take the same bs medications that don't do much, if anything, to treat symptoms while your immune system does it's job.
