Pretty good. I laughed at the "makes burgers in sets of five"

Mark, how do I fail a squat?
Beta male: lower the bar to the safety bars
Rippetoe-pilled male: just stand up

He wrote Starting Strength. People tend to love him or hate him. He is a strong personality and knows that his way is not only the best way, but it's the only way.
I've watched a lot of his videos trying to improve my form and I still can't squat for shite.

Made me wanna make five burgers, I'll tell ya that
This guy isn't like a real fitness trainer or anything, is he? If so, I want him to train me just for the laughs that I'd have from his instructions.

This was funny, but it doesn’t make up for his character. Unfortunately, he’s a complete arse. And, unfortunately, he’s got more wrong than right.
Look up his thought on trap bar. Then, you’ll see what I mean. He should just shut it down.

I think a lot of people misunderstand Mark's point. His stance on trap bars, rows, and other movements/equipment he rants about normally has to do with novice lifters.
His stance is that novice lifters have no business messing around with these things, because they aren't yet strong. He wants people to get strong in the 4 main lifts (squat, dead, bench, press) before messing around with trap bar deadlifts and the like.

Shut what down? His books? His website? Why?

He should stop teaching a flawed system to people.

It’s this.
He is the Dave Ramsey of strength training. He’s very dogmatic, but his plan is simple and effective for most people.
Is Starting strength linear progression the most perfectly optimized and personalized plan.. no.
Does it help people focus on basic compound movements and get stronger.. yes.

What part of his system is flawed?
