I don’t care for it but I’m more traditional.

Just awful !!
Hideous gray cabinets, open shelves, microwave in a lower cabinet so you have to bend down to use it.

I have one of those but the microwave is designed for it so the drawer rolls out with and open top.
Just set the food in and close it.

I was hoping to see a home made of I-beams, and covered in 1/8" plate steel walls, with 3/16 plate steel roofing, all welded, that is rated to withstand 400 mph winds. I was also thinking aboot 24" of blown insulation, throughout, would be adequate.
Maybe the heat of the south, and all the hurricanes make me overdo it a bit, when thinking of perfect.

but those 1990s rubbermaid wire shelves in the closets

Decent for a guest house.

All of those wooden beams outside are fake and made from mitered boards and done poorly. Hell, the "wood" floors are a poor quality fake too.

It’s a nice place to raise a family but personally the exterior is too busy with the different materials & window gables

What a crappy looking cookie cutter home.

Too trendy. Will get dated super fast. Holy subway tile Batman.
Only one dishwasher in the kitchen for a nearly $2m dollar house.
No bidet seats.
One of the worst home design trends of all time.

I would actually be depressed living in that house
It's just.... something so brand new and sterile posturing as something old, storied, and refined
Like the face steel beams in the dining room? With the $15 car cart in the corner?
Please
Kill me

Jackie Gleason built this house in upstate NY after Richard Nixon got drunk and showed him the UFO evidence

Timmy may tour some amazing homes but this one ain’t it.
tldr:
Think Gander Mountain meets Medieval Times
Exposed dark beams
Chandeliers repurposed from an amusement park
Outlined windows with thin dark metal frames
non functioning shutters
Postage stamp sized bedrooms for a 6,000 square ft house
On the plus side:
the cabinets above and surrounding the refrigerator are handy if your family are direct descendants of giraffes
and that microwave for the height challenged is a plus

Not a fan. I like more mid-century modern with clean lines. All those dormers and gables and textures looks really dated and busy.
Looks good now but 30 years from now, it will be a running joke.

You’re being generous, I give it half that time. Too trendy.
To hell with that glass encased fireplace.
