Waffle House attracts the greatest cross section of our society

You have the trashies wearing sweatpants and socks with sandles.
You have college kids.
You have plant baws.
You have doctors, lawyers, and Indian chiefs.
You have upper middle class dads taking their kids for a weekend breakfast.
You have middle aged moms grabbing a bite while out shopping.
You have families coming before & after church.
You have folks grabbing a late night bite to sober up after hitting the bars.
You have emo kids with nothing better to do than drink coffee.
You have folks just paroled from jail.
You have dads, sons, buddies grabbing a bite before heading out fishing/hunting.
You have the wealthy.
You have the poors.
I can’t think of a business with more cross cultural appeal. Just everyone enjoying the same delicious, greasy food.
And the workers are pretty much all the same no matter the location.

That’s why I’ve never set foot in one.
I think of the DMV as the great equalizer. Almost everybody has to go there and mingle eventually.
