It is not leaking at the tank.

Yeah, because there has never been an oil or gas leak before….

This absolutely has to be done. Ammonia has a very high vapor content. Thats why its so dangerous. They could get a new flange sent overnight. However, they may have overpressurized the tank causing a failure in which case the tank would have to be replaced as well. Seems to happen a lot at CF
You don’t have much of a clue as to what you are talking about.

Aramco is already shipping as much Blue Ammonia as they can make to Japan
CF is looking to build a ~$2.5B facility near Donaldsonville and another company is exploring a ~$7.5B facility next to the new CF facility.
When NH3 is burned in a furnace, there is Zero carbon emissions. That's what these people are after.

am just the supplier. We are not the contractors that do the installation or the ones filling the tanks. There are lots of factors that could cause the issue. If it is the flange, it is likely that they had too much pressure going into the tank. Bad news is that most new tanks are about a 12 week lead time.
Lol at all this. You may be selling some small tanks but the ammonia storage tanks are gigantic… like 50000 tons. They take years to design, build and commission.

You think they put ammonia in your fricking rental?

My man, this was not your tank.

Why do Democrats hate the environment? What are plants supposed to breathe?

We sell plenty of Ammonia tanks. They may be hold tanks for a larger one in some cases. Up to 20,000 gallons, so not just necessarily small tanks. I'm relieved that it's not one of our tanks. I didn't know we had so many tank experts on the board. GTK

Why would you assume that I design/sell rental tanks? We do multimillion dollar projects weekly.

Its for ESG controls over the masses

They (Dems) probably believe in Lysenkoism and think the plants will just adapt to lower CO2 levels

You know, with ammonia that is fricking scary.

Never left the fenceline.
Fence contains the gas once again. They should build more containers out of the fence material.

Where are they getting their source of H2?
If it's coming form electrolysis via nuclear energy then then the entire process is green. If it's coming form methane then they are still producing CO2 to make the H2 which is really not "green".

Your aqua ammonia tank is not going to potential create a vapor cloud of ammonia that would require evacuations of schools

Not if they capture the industrial CO2 and then inject into carbon sequestration…

You know less than you think you do. This statement is meaningless.

Based on what? I know of exactly one ammonia storage tank failure in the US due to overpressure. I worked in that plant at the time. It was not CF and was a LONG time ago.

1. Uhh.. that’s definitely a small tank.
2. CF Industries Donaldsonville is the largest ammonia producer in the world. I can assure you that they don’t store their 4+ million tons per year of ammonia product in 20,000 gallon Snyder tanks.
