Hopefully the dog chased something into the woods and the girls got turned around trying to retrieve him or something like that. Makes my heart sink, hoping for a happy outcome.
Very much hope this is the case, most people let alone tiny little kids will get lost in the woods quite easily.
if that's what happened. hope so. going on 4 hours.

This has me sick. I’ll be refreshing this thread all night until they’re found.

The dog would’ve returned home by now if they got separated. That’s a good sign that good boy is hunkered down with his girls.
I hope and pray that this is the case.

I called the sheriff’s office to volunteer to help look, but they said no one should come out right now. They are searching with a helicopter. Will update the sheriff’s facebook page if they want volunteers to help look.

Nope it doesn’t work like that. You need a reader up close to it
That’s my point. Of all the microchips I’ve scanned or watched implanted, none were ever capable of “tracking” without having the dog or horse right next to you. Saw the same question in the lost dog thread a few Weeks ago and was wondering if the technology had finally been developed to scan the animal remotely or track it.

I have already refreshed it probably 20 times, hoping the next post is that they are found safe and sound.

foul play involved
I can’t see anything else as being very logical. This seems pretty serious to me.

It seems pretty logical that two girls would get lost in the woods. I don’t think you need to assume foul play. Especially being they apparently chased a dog into the woods.

What I don’t understand my seven-year-old is like an adult. This wouldn’t happen unless it was forced, like foul play.
Unless it’s a really wooded area where you can get turned around

Based on Google Earth 8100 Block of N Willie Road, has several homes around it. I’d say a half mile to the left n right thick patches of woods. Nothing daunting to find them. I hope this was not an abduction

I would imagine the parents started searching almost immediately around 5:00 once they saw they weren’t in the yard?
How far could they have gone? Especially with a massive search party started soon after I’m sure.
This is very upsetting.

infrared sensor probably...might be why they don't want a lot of people in the area right now...
God bless and watch over these children...

I was in Tiger Band with their dad.
Will definitely be praying harder tonight than I have in some time.

Ran out the house to front yard. They basically ran towards highway. Even if they ran into woods, nobody is hearing them. 2 different girls. No sounds. Dog is gone. Not good either. This is bad.

Agreed, hope both are found safe. Can't imagine the parents thoughts right now.

Yeah with the parents and neighbors on the scene immediately, and helicopters with thermal scans in the air, they should be located quickly. The longer it goes on the more my stomach sinks at the thought of an abduction-type scenario.
But then again… they were in their front yard. I wouldn't think someone is going to kidnap a kid in their front yard.

I’m not saying it’s good, but an abduction of two girls and a dog seems unlikely even as quiet as it would be in Folsom.
I think we would have seen an amber alert by now or something if they suspected that was the case.

I don’t think foul play is involved. I think it just got dark very quickly on these poor girls and they got turned around. They’re going to be found!

They live 3 miles from my house. It’s eerie outside. Drones and helicopters going over the house. I’m surrounded by over 40 acres of woods but I don’t want to go out and impede progress. If I show up on thermal it’s not doing them any favors. I want to help but like many I’m glued to Facebook praying for a positive update.
